Youth Internship Program

This initiative connects high school students with local businesses, providing valuable work experience while helping students develop their career goals.
Our Youth Internship Program aims to support high school students by offering them practical learning experiences in real work environments. Students are responsible for securing their own internships, and this program serves as a resource to connect interested businesses with motivated interns.
Participating in our internship program not only supports students but also provides businesses with several advantages:
- Access to enthusiastic and eager-to-learn students
- Opportunity to shape and mentor the next generation of professionals
- Contributions to community development and workforce readiness
Mentor Responsibilities
As a mentor, businesses are encouraged to:
- Provide meaningful work experience that aligns with the student's career objectives.
- Commit to training the intern for an agreed-upon number of hours each week (approximately 60 hours per semester).
- Maintain open communication with the school regarding the student's progress and any challenges.
- Offer occupational guidance to help students understand their career paths.
- Identify and help develop any basic skills that students may be lacking.
Flexible Commitment
Businesses have the flexibility to decline any intern based on individual fit and qualifications. Each internship is designed to ensure a positive experience for both the student and the employer.
